This Week at La Salle

Dear Explorers and friends,

May was a month for celebrations. Honor societies, pinnings, and other recognition ceremonies honored the achievements of the La Salle community.

Of course, the biggest celebration occurred as we honored the Class of 2024 during the Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement Ceremonies on May 11. I was happy to confer over 1,000 degrees as families and friends of our students watched. Our newest group of alumni should be proud of this achievement. They are setting off on the next chapter in their studies, careers, and personal lives. But, as they take the next step in their journeys, we will always welcome them back as Explorers to remember their time at the University and hear about how they are making an impact in the world.

Being a member of the La Salle University community can take you anywhere. I look forward seeing and hearing more from our students, faulty, staff, and alumni throughout the summer and into the start of the new school year. And before we know it, we will be celebrating another class of graduates and their accomplishments who will Be Known for More.

Sincerely,

Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.
President
La Salle University

As we close the academic year, it’s time to make an impact. Generous donors have pledged up to $50,000 to match gifts made to The La Salle Fund between May 16-31. Support the La Salle experience through a gift today.
