Upcoming Holidays, Observations, and Commemorations

Throughout the year, we celebrate the wide array of individuals, groups, and cultures at La Salle by calling to mind various holidays, observances, and commemorative days that provide our campus with an opportunity to learn and to become involved as they desire. STEAM Camp 

Monday, June 30 – Friday, July 18

This year's La Salle STEAM Enrichment Camp for 1st – 9th grade students will be focusing on all things space. Learn more and/or register through June 6 here.

Community Meeting

Tuesday, July 1 from 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Join representatives from the City of Philadelphia and community members in Founders' Hall for a workshop to share feedback about transport topics in the area, including bus trip improvements and proposed changes to improve walking, biking, bus and driving safety.

Summer Orientation  

Monday, July 14 and Thursday, July 17

Happy Hour at the Union Hideaway 

Wednesday, July 16 and Aug. 20 from 4 – 6 p.m.

Join the La Salle community every third Wednesday this summer at the Union Hideaway for a happy hour featuring $4.50 Miller Lite, $5.50 Explorer Ale, $6.50 wine, and other beverages, plus $8.50 Buffalo wings.  

Open House  

Friday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Summer Open House allows high school students and those interested in transferring a chance to learn more about La Salle and being an Explorer. Register for the Open House here.

Academic Year Convocation   

Monday, Aug. 18 

Join faculty, staff, and Christian Brothers to kick of the 2025–2026 school year and celebrate La Salle.

New Student Move In and Convocation 

Thursday, Aug. 21 starting at 8 a.m. 

New students will be moving into their on-campus housing all morning and then beginning their La Salle experience with the First Expedition Walk and New Student Convocation. Look out for more information and volunteer opportunities.
