Applications for fall 2025 and spring 2026 housing are now available for returning and transfer students in housing and dining self-service through the myLaSalle portal. Students can ask for assistance with this process by contacting one of the following resources: resident assistant, commuter coach, Housing and Residence Life office in Union 205, or residence life staff at 215-951-1370 or by emailing housing@lasalle.edu

The Honorary Degree Committee is turning its attention to identifying potential honorees for 2025 and beyond. The La Salle community is invited to submit recommendations for possible future honorary doctorate candidates. Find the submission form here.

Explorer for a Day

Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.   

Prospective high school and potential transfer students visit La Salle to be an Explorer for a Day. Students will experience a day in the life of a La Salle University student on campus, speak with current students, attend classes, meet professors, and learn about life at La Salle. Attendees will also receive help navigating financial aid. Register here.

Viewing and Discussion of “Trash & Burn” 

Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12:30 p.m.  

Join the School of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Public Health Department for a screening of the movie, “Trash & Burn,” the story of Zulene Mayfield by local filmmaker Bilal Motley. The movie will be in St. Benilde Tower, room 1144, with a discussion with the filmmaker to follow. The movie follows one woman's fight to stop the nation's largest trash incinerator from polluting her small town, a majority-black community. 

Critical Conversations Being Your Authentic Self in College Athletics

Being your authentic self in college athletics means expressing yourself freely, embracing your uniqueness, and building confidence. It can also mean challenging stereotypes, forming genuine connections, and growing as a person. Inclusive intercollegiate athletics is the practice of making intercollegiate sports welcoming and respectful to people of all backgrounds, abilities, and ages. This discussion with current and former student athletes and administrators about their experiences is open to ALL students (current and former), student-athletes (current and former), faculty, staff, and administrators.
