This Week at La Salle
The agreement-signing ceremony at La Salle.

Dear Explorers and friends,

The academic year is rounding its final turn, as is our celebration of La Salle’s 160th anniversary. However, our community of learners and leaders shows no sign of slowing down.

The National Endowment for Humanities awarded La Salle University a grant to fund a humanities-focused bridge program. We also recently entered an international academic partnership with a fellow Lasallian university in Spain, to create exchange programs for faculty, students, and academic work.

At La Salle, we take considerable pride in positioning graduates for success beyond 20th and Olney. In the latest external validation of this, U.S. News & World Report ranked our full-time MBA program among the top 30% of programs nationally for job-placement rate.

Our alumni go on to successful careers with global impact, and they return to campus to share their experience with our students. Tom Curley, ’70, the retired president of The Associated Press who visited campus this month.

On the doorstep of final exams and Commencement Weekend, I encourage you to learn more about all that makes La Salle one of the top national universities.

Sincerely,

Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.

President Allen and Ramon Llull

Only a few days ago, La Salle entered an international partnership with a fellow Lasallian university located in Spain’s Catalonia region—La Salle Ramon Llull University. The agreement will create student, faculty, and research exchange opportunities. I was proud to join with leadership from Ramon Llull, including President Josep Santos, to mark the occasion with an agreement-signing ceremony.
