The Office of Student Advocacy and Support is accepting donations from everyone in the Explorer community to help restock the Basket @ Union. Donations are always appreciated and can be made throughout the year.  

Students, staff, and faculty are invited to donate non-perishable foods, household items, and personal care products to Union 119 or the Union Info Center.  

Monetary donations can also be made by visiting the Office of Student Advocacy and Support in the Lawrence Building or emailing Serita Reels (reels@lasalle.edu) or Br. Bob (kinzler@lasalle.edu) to coordinate drop-off times.  

Throughout the year, we celebrate the wide array of individuals, groups, and cultures at La Salle by calling to mind various holidays, observances, and commemorative days that provide our campus with an opportunity to learn and to become involved as they desire. Learn more about the recognitions taking place across the globe and throughout the country during the month of September, including:

• September 15: Hispanic Heritage Month began 

• September 21: Lasallian Days of Peace began

• September 23-24: Rosh Hashanah  

• September 27: Feast of Scubilion Rosseau (revered as The Catechist of Slaves) 

Mass

Monday – Thursday at 1 p.m.  

Daily Mass will take place from Monday through Thursday in the De La Salle Chapel.

Sunday at 5 p.m. 

Weekly Mass will take place every Sunday in the De La Salle Chapel.

La Salle Dining Oktoberfest 

Monday, Sept. 22 through Friday, Sept. 26 

Get ready for Oktoberfest with limited time offers from La Salle dining throughout the week.

Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. 

Head to the Union to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and learn more about the holiday. 

Black Student Union’s Back to Scoops Fundraiser 

Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 12 to 2 p.m. 

Kick off the semester with BSU at the Hansen Quad. Refreshing water ice will be served, music played, and yard games and activities set up for everyone to enjoy. Come out, cool down, and connect with friends while supporting BSU!  

On-Campus Vaccine Clinic 

Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Student wellness is hosting an on-campus vaccine clinic in the Union Ballroom providing access to COVID-19 boosters, flu vaccines, and immunization services. The clinic is open to all La Salle community members. Reserve your spot here and contact studenthealth@lasalle.edu with questions.
