Dear Explorers and friends,
It’s proven time and time again that a La Salle University degree can take our students anywhere. I’m proud to see our alumni doing incredible things with their careers.
Here at 20th and Olney we love to celebrate these accomplishments. Recently, our latest edition of La Salle Magazine arrived in mailboxes and online. Within the pages you will find success stories about two Explorers utilizing their education overseas, an alumnus working in the Pennsylvania state government, and a chief nurse executive of University of Pennsylvania Health System finding a second career with a little help from La Salle, plus so much more.
During the month of March, we will continue to honor Explorers’ achievements.
Distinguished nurse practitioner and nonprofit founder Lisa Abdul-Haqq, DNP, M.A. ’09, MSN ’21, CRNP, will be recognized at the Women in Leadership Award luncheon on Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Founders’ Hall.
La Salle’s 19th Annual IT Leadership Award will honor Jonathan Snyder, ’08, a senior technical program manager (Wireless Security) at Amazon. An award presentation will be held on March 7 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Holroyd Atrium.
Finally, during the 31st annual Charter Dinner on March 21, Jerry Lezynski, '82, Lincoln Financial Network vice president of marketing will be honored with The Lasallian Leadership Award. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Ballroom at the Ben.
I am looking forward to celebrating how a Lasallian education can set the foundation for a prosperous future. I hope you will join me in congratulating these accomplished alumni.
Sincerely,
Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.
