This Week at La Salle
Be Seen. Be Heard. Be known for more. Billboard

Dear Explorers and friends,

Embedded within La Salle’s University’s new branding campaign, Known for More, is a thought-provoking question for prospective students: What will you be known for

And while the campaign answers that question by saying at La Salle you will be known for more, what we really want is for our audiences to respond to the question with their own unique story.

What I like about the Known for More branding campaign is that it feels new yet familiar.

Our faculty, staff, students, and alumni already know that La Salle is propelling learners into leaders through our rigorous hands-on, liberal arts and experiential education.

We see the results in such rankings as U.S. News & World Report which named the University within the top-half of all national universities on the Best Colleges rankings for the second consecutive year. We are proud of the significant jumps in its rankings for value, social mobility, and our undergraduate nursing program.

The brand campaign is a way to bring the statistics to life through stories of accomplishments and aspirations of what is to be. From an institutional perspective it is a way for La Salle to tell the whole story of itself and its community and an invitation to anyone who wants to be known for their whole story too.

So, let me end my letter with how I started, asking what will you be known for?

Sincerely,

Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.
