This Week at La Salle

Dear Explorers and friends,

I am proud to share the recent accolades La Salle University earned during the month of September.

U.S. News & World Report placed the University within the top-half of all national universities on the Best Colleges rankings for the second consecutive year. La Salle saw significant jumps in its rankings for value, social mobility, and our undergraduate nursing program. The University maintained its No. 1 spot among national universities in the Philadelphia region and its No. 2 spot in Pennsylvania for social mobility.

Our institution also performed highly in other recent rankings including placing in the top tier on Third Way’s Economic Mobility Index and earning high rankings on Washington Monthly’s College Guide and Rankings for earnings and service.

La Salle’s consistency and improvement in these categories showcases the rigorous academic environment we provide students. Our focus on providing a transformative education is not going unnoticed.

Last week, we announced renovations to TruMark Financial Center for a reimagined college basketball experience. This renovation project is going to be a vital step forward to enhance and elevate the game day atmosphere for our student-athletes and the entire Explorer family.

These are exciting times at La Salle, and I am honored to lead this great University and work alongside such dedicated faculty and staff who provide our students with a top-notch education.

Sincerely,

Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D.
