La Salle Mens Basketball Head Coach Darris Nichols

La Salle University announced the hiring of Darris Nichols as the school's 21st head men's basketball coach. Nichols most recently served as the head coach at Radford University, where he amassed two 20-win seasons in four years (68-63), including a 20-13 record during the 2024-25 season. Read more.

  • All are invited to a press conference to introduce Nichols on Monday, March 24, at 10 a.m., at John E. Glaser Arena.

President Allen with Women in Leadership Honorees

On a day dedicated to recognizing the achievements of women worldwide,
La Salle University proudly honored one of its own: Tina Wahl, ’97, (right) president of The Barra Foundation, for her remarkable contributions to philanthropy and community development. In addition, scholarship recipients Taneeyah Simpson, ’28, and Felicity Hoffert, ’28, were recognized. Read more.

Join the Admission Campus Explorer (ACE) Team! As an ACE, you will assist with daily campus tours, group tours, office work, event prep, and support at evening or weekend yield events. The role of an ACE is to cultivate a memorable and informative campus experience to assist prospective families in making an informed decision about their university selection. Stations of the Cross 

This devotion is offered every Friday at 1 p.m. through April 11 in the De La Salle Chapel, with the officiant reminding us of Jesus’ path toward his crucifixion and death.

Eucharistic Adoration 
Every Thursday 1:30 - 4 p.m.

A prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament, sitting quietly and listening in the presence of God or Jesus or reflecting on Bible or other spiritual writings. 

Observing Lent

During the Lenten season, Brothers Robert Kinzler and Leonard Marsh will provide brief reflections on pieces of art from the La Salle University Art Museum. In addition, other Brothers will provide a written reflection each week. Read more

Your Actions Create Your Tomorrow with Cliff Crosby
Monday, March 24 at 5 p.m.

Join former Super Bowl champion Cliff Crosby for an inspiring talk on perseverance, hard work, and smart choices. His presentation, to be held in the Dan Rodden Theatre, empowers students to set goals, stay accountable, and overcome challenges. This event is being hosted by Wellness Services in partnership with Peak Performance from Caron Foundation, a student athlete mental health and wellness program, as part of a two-year grant. There will be refreshments following the presentation in Union lobby and tabling resources from Wellness Services.

Major Mania!
Tuesday, March 25 from Noon 2 p.m.

Are you unsure of the content certain majors cover? Do you feel like you don’t know what career pathways some majors can lead to? Now is the time to answer your questions and act by joining us at the Major Mania! The Center for Academic Achievement Student Success Coach team and the Career Center invite all to the Union Ballroom, and specifically first and second-year students that are undeclared, in learning more switching majors and the academic disciplines and majors available. Grand Opening of the Basket in Union

Stop by Union 119 for the grand opening of The Basket in Union! It’s a new food panty for all students offering free, non-perishable foods, household goods, and personal hygiene items.

The John Henry Newman Lecture Series presents Kathryn Jean Lopez, Senior Fellow at The National Review Institute. The lecture will be held in the Holroyd Hall Atrium. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP today.

Women's Workshop

Tuesday, March 25 at 5 p.m.

All are invited to join the African Student Association (ASA) in the Union's McShain Boardroom for a discussion about growing up in an African/immigrant home as a woman. Attendees are requested to wear brown and/or beige.

Women in Sports Documentary Viewing

Wednesday, March 26 from 5 7 p.m.

La Salle Athletics is hosting a viewing of the Simone Biles documentary, "Rising: Part 1," in conjunction with Women's History Month. Watch the Netflix special in the TruMark Financial Center's media room and then stay for a discussion with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Advocate Kristen Harootunian from the Caron Foundation. Sign up is limited to the first 40 student-athletes.

Climate Justice Beliefs as a Driver of Climate Action and Policy Support
